ABOUT

The First International Conference on Illegal Short Term Rentals will feature attendees from almost every continent including Australia, North and South America, Europe, Asia.

The Hotel Association of New York City, in partnership with four other international hotel associations, is pleased to invite you to the conference "ReformBnB - Winning the Fight Against Short Term Lets" at their offices and the InterContinental Barclay in New York on the 18-19th of November.

This is the first international event for hotel owners and hotel industry associations on the topic of short term rentals, with attendees from four continents and some of the most important tourism markets in the world - including Argentina, Chile, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the United States.

The event will focus on how the hotel sector can best respond to the threat of private short term rentals by promoting common sense rules on the industry. We will have presentations on the impact of short term rentals on the hotel sector, the future of the short term rental industry, and how hotels can respond to the impact of short term rentals through effective advocacy. The key aim of this event, however, will be to forge global connections between hotel associations working on this topic, so we can effectively work together to create a sensible rules for the short-term rental sector.
