NEW YORK, NY (April 17, 2017) – Manhattan’s The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, in partnership with Château d’Esclans – producer of Whispering Angel rosé – invites New York City to celebrate the summer on the ‘Rosé Terrace at Perrine.’

Beginning on April 17, Perrine will debut its outdoor seating and a mouth-watering new Spring menu to coincide with Whispering Angel’s 10th Anniversary celebrations.

The ‘Rosé Terrace at Perrine’ will play host to a series of events throughout the Summer including:

  • Rosé Thursdays: A weekly Happy Hour from 5 pm – 8 pm on Thursday evenings from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Join us for Rose All Day with a specially crafted selection of appetizers inspired by summer in Provence such as Gougeres with Red Pepper dip and Grilled Shrimp in Herbs de Provence and Capers. Enjoy a glass of Whispering Angel rosé and an appetizer of your choice for $20, or enjoy “A taste of the Angels”; a glass of Whispering Angel followed by a glass of Rock Angel for a special price of $24.
  • Celebration of La Fête du Musique: Join us in celebrating the longest day of the year at the ‘Rosé Terrace at Perrine’ from 5 pm – 9 pm on June 21, 2017. This celebration will feature an outdoor ‘street party’ and live music by various musical acts.
  • Bastille Day Celebrations on July 13, 2017

“We’re looking forward to a wonderful summer on the terrace,” said Paul Chevalier of Château d’Esclans, “This is a natural partnership between two elegant, iconic French brands – The Pierre and Château d’Esclans.”

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Château d’Esclans for what will be a fabulous summer of al fresco dining. The beautiful portfolio of rosé wines, from Whispering Angel to Garrus, are the perfect complement to Perrine’s deliciously fresh Spring menu,” said Perrine’s Executive Chef Ashfer Biju.

The launch of the ‘Rosé Terrace at Perrine’ closely follows the opening of adjacent Perrine and the Rotunda in late summer 2016, bringing The Pierre’s culinary and design evolution full circle, completing an ambitious re-imagining of the hotel’s public spaces.

The ‘Rosé Terrace at Perrine’ will be open to the public for breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner Sunday through Saturday, with capacity reserved for 18 people.
