Each year, the Hotel Association of New York City, Inc. holds its Big Apple Star Awards Program to recognize exemplary performances by New York City hotel employees. This Awards Program is a great opportunity to bring public recognition to exceptional employees. This program serves as a qualifier for the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Stars of the Industry Award, and as such, we strongly urge you to participate.

 

To acknowledge your most outstanding employees, every nominee will receive a certificate of recognition. Finalists will receive $500.00 and a plaque for the finalist in each of six categories and additional $500.00 and a crystal award for the overall “Best of Class” winner.

 

Nominations will be accepted for the following six categories:

 

Full-Time Concierge Full-Time Hourly Without Guest Contact
Full-Time Door Person Full-Time Room Attendant
Full-Time Hourly With Guest Contact Managerial Below General Manager
