A Nashville judge ruled Friday that Metro’s ordinance regulating short-term rentals such as Airbnbs is vague and thus unconstitutional, delivering a blow to the city’s attempt to manage the fast-growing alternative to hotels. The immediate impact of the ruling is unclear as Metro lawyers say they will likely ask that it not go into effect pending appeal.
