An Upper West Side building at the center of a long legal battle that could have huge ramifications on the city’s efforts to crack down on illegal Airbnb rentals has been hit with a slew of new violations that could lead to $65,000 in fines, officials said. City inspectors hit the Imperial Court on W. 79th St. with five violations on May 10 for operating as an illegal hotel after it found 99 of its 227 units were being rented out to tourists….
