NY Daily News – De Blasio not involved in state Senate races, but firm of ‘agent of the city’ is

A Super PAC created by Airbnb has so far paid BerlinRosen, whose co-founder is de Blasio confidante Jonathan Rosen, nearly $1 million for ads and mailers opposing Sen. Sue Serino (R-Dutchess County) and supporting Sen. George Latimer (D-Westchester) and James Gaughran, who is challenging incumbent Sen. Carl Marcellino (R-Nassau County). Even though Airbnb is an online home-sharing service, its PAC-funded attack literature tries to tie Serino to a water contamination crisis in Hoosick Falls, near the Vermont border even though her district is no where near the village. Michele Baker, a Hoosick Falls mother, also ripped the campaign in a statement to the Daily News. “Airbnb has done nothing to help the people of Hoosick Falls, and from their deplorable exploitation of this water crisis, it’s clear that the safety and well-being of our children in Hoosick Falls are the least of their concerns,” Baker said….
