Our condolences go out to everyone directly affected by the World Trade Center tragedy, and, in particular, to the families of the brave police officers, firefighters and other emergency personnel who have died.

As a result of the tragedy, four member hotels are closed – the Marriott World Trade Center, Embassy Suites and the Millenium Hilton.

Many others among HANYC's 200 members – representing 65,900 rooms and 30,000 employees – have taken the initiative to provide food, shelter and other services for families of victims and for rescue workers and volunteers.

Even as New York City begins the rebuilding process, the hotel industry is fully operational and open for business. Click here for regular news and information updates.

Sincerely,

Chester Deptula , Chairman
Joseph E. Spinnato, President
