Seminar on Digital Distribution and OTAs

The Hotel Association is delighted to sponsor a seminar aimed at the rising costs of distribution for hotels with a special emphasis on NYC on Thursday, March 9th at 2pm at the InterContinental New York Times Square – 300 W 44th St, New York, NY, Central Park Room (Lower Level).

The two part seminar will be led by the industry’s leading digital technology and marketing experts, HeBS will begin with a focus on Smart Data Marketing to amp up customer engagement and retention.

Among the issues addressed here will be how to utilize real-time “in-market” targeting, in order to reach potential guests who have expressed an interest to travel now or in the near future to NYC.

The ability to balance CRM data and Intent Data to maximize past, present and future customer data to optimize direct bookings and reach “best” guests will be addressed.

The second part will be devoted to critical digital technology as well as marketing initiatives to include or add to the 2017 budget.

A representative from Google will also be making a presentation towards the end of the seminar.

The goal is to provide Pointers on where and what to invest in the area of digital technology and marketing initiatives with a view increasing profitability while lowering dependency on OTAs.

The seminar is open to all members and is ideal for GMs, Revenue Managers and DOSMs.
