The stage is set for perhaps Nashville’s most contentious battle yet over Airbnb as the Metro Council prepares to consider a moratorium to stop the popular shot-term rental service from growing further. Two council members, Sheri Weiner and Burkley Allen, say they will propose a moratorium on issuing new city permits for non-owner-occupied short-term rental properties.
