A landlord in Elmhurst recently rented out the third floor of three-story home, a three-bedroom apartment, to two people who turned it into a 10-bedroom apartment to rent out on Airbnb.com. The two people, who were identified as Burak Firik and Dogan Kimilli, rented the apartment for $2,500 a month. After signing the lease, the landlord, Eddie Shiew, told WPIX 11 that he received a call from one of the tenants on the first floor telling him that there appeared to be construction going on on the third floor…
