The city of Niagara Falls will attempt to write a law governing the use of online marketplace sites such as Airbnb, while in the state legislature, hotel industry lobbyists seek to regulate the short-term rental market it fosters. Falls Councilwoman Kristen Grandinetti was made to apply for a lodging permit to rent two rooms in her Orchard Parkway home through www.Airbnb.com, which allows users to advertise short-term rentals of rooms, apartments and homes across the world….
