The home sharing company Airbnb is rallying against a D.C. Council bill that would create a regulatory framework for short-term rental bookings in the District. The legislation proposes strict limits on Washingtonians who use the website to rent out rooms to temporary guests.Affordable housing advocates complain apartment buildings across the District have become illegal hotels.
